Summary: Outlining whether couples can add items from outside of our product offering to their gift list, and how to process this.
Custom Product Policy
At Prezola, we want our couples to be able to build their ultimate gift list, so we allow you to add up to 10 products from other websites to their gift list.
Once added, these created custom product funds that guests can contribute to, which we will then provide you as cash funds and can be withdrawn from your account once you are ready to receive the costs.
How do I add gifts from another website to my gift list?
To add gifts from other websites to your gift list, you need to navigate to the ‘Your List’ page of your dashboard. You will then need to:
- Click ‘Add more gifts’
- Scroll down toward the bottom of the page to find the section that says ‘Custom Products – Add from another website’
- Click here to open the pop-up, where you simply need to add the link to the item you would like.
Once added, our system will scrape the link provided for the product details and imagery, so this can be added to your gift list.
Before this is added, you’ll be able to edit the gift name and description so this can say what you would like your guests to see. You’ll also be able to decide if you would like open or defined contributions to the gift, as well as make sure the correct quantity of each item is available to be purchased.
Once confirmed, this will fall into a pending state for 3 working days as this is approved by our team. As soon as it’s been approved, your guests will be able to start contributing.
Exceptions and Special Circumstances
- Only 10 custom products can be added to a gift list – this cannot be extended.
- The costs for a custom product can only be received as cash when fully purchased by a guest.
- Brand Product or funds from Vouchers & Experiences cannot be transferred to custom product funds.
- If an item is added as a custom product that is available from our Branded Partners, we reserve the right to swap this over.
- When in a pending state, custom products are hidden from your gift list until approved by our team.
Custom Product Processing Time
Once added, custom products take 3 working days to be reviewed and approved by our team. The reviewing process allows us to check if any items are readily available from any of our Brand Partners. During this process, any custom products are hidden from guests.
Once approved, this will show on the gift list straight away so guests can contribute as soon as it’s available.
