At The Wedding Shop, we offer our couples as much flexibility as possible when it comes to their gifts - so don’t worry if you spot a blue toaster on their list but later see a white one arrive instead!
🎁 How Gift Swapping Works
Each couple can choose between two options for how their gifts are managed:

Auto-Order:
As soon as a guest purchases a gift, we’ll automatically begin securing that exact item from our supplier. This helps ensure timely delivery and minimal admin for the couple. -
Flexible Ordering:
Some couples prefer to keep their options open! In this case, their balance is held securely and they can choose to swap or change gifts before confirming their final selection. That means the couple can exchange colours, styles or even choose something entirely different within our Brand Partner collection.
For example:
If you purchase a blue toaster, the couple may later decide they’d prefer a white one - or swap it altogether for a coffee machine. As long as the gift hasn’t been ordered yet, they have full flexibility to do so.
🔍 What You Need to Know

Your thoughtful gift will always be honoured and appreciated - even if it changes form a little!

Couples cannot exchange gifts for cash unless it was a cash fund contribution.

If a gift has already been ordered or delivered, the couple can only return it if it is damaged, faulty, or not as described - within 7 days of receiving it.
