Audience: Couple
Yes, you absolutely can! With The Wedding Shop, you're free to create personalised funds for whatever you’re dreaming of - from a romantic honeymoon to your future home renovation, or even something uniquely ‘you’.
🎁 What are personalised funds?
Personalised funds allow you to invite your guests to contribute to something meaningful, rather than buying a traditional gift. Whether it's a trip of a lifetime, a new sofa, or puppy essentials - the possibilities are endless.
🛠️ How to create your personalised fund:
Once you’ve registered and created your gift list, setting up a fund is simple:
-
Go to your Gift List Dashboard
-
Click into the ‘Funds’ section of the gift selection
-
The first option will be ‘Create a custom cash fund or gift’
-
Click this to open up the personalised fund builder
From there, you’ll be able to:
-
Name your fund (e.g. “Our Dream Honeymoon in Bali” or “Kitchen Renovation Fund”)
-
Add a personal description to tell your guests what the fund means to you
-
Upload your own image to bring your fund to life
-
Choose the contribution type that best suits your goal:
-
Open Fund: Guests can give any amount they like - there’s no target or limit
-
Defined Fund: You can set a total target amount and define how much guests can contribute (e.g. £50 per contribution)
-
Once saved, your new fund will appear on your gift list just like any other item and will be visible to your guests when they browse.
