How Do We Access the Funds Contributed by Our Guests?

Audience: Couples
 

At The Wedding Shop, we offer flexible options for couples to access contributions received from their guests. However, not all contributions are eligible for withdrawal, and it’s important to understand how each gift type works.


💸 What Funds Can Be Withdrawn?

You can withdraw the following contributions:

  • Cash funds

  • Honeymoon funds

  • Charity donations

These contributions are transferred as cash directly to your nominated UK bank account. You’ll receive two free fund transfers, and you can request a withdrawal at a time that suits you after your wedding.

To request your transfer:

  1. Head to the ‘Order Gifts’ section of your dashboard

  2. Select ‘Withdraw Funds’

  3. Provide your bank details

  4. We’ll process the request and send the funds securely


🎁 What Cannot Be Withdrawn?

Contributions made towards the following cannot be withdrawn as cash:

  • Brand Product Funds from physical gifts (items listed from our 300+ brand partners)

  • Voucher & Experience Funds

These contributions are held in your account as a Product & Voucher Balance and must be used to purchase items directly through your Wedding Shop gift list.


🛍️ Spending Your Product Balance

To use your brand product funds:

  1. Add products from our Brand Partners to your gift list

  2. Go to the ‘Order Gifts’ section

  3. Select the gifts you'd like and click ‘Place Order’

  4. You can then book a delivery for your chosen items once they arrive in our warehouse
