What Happens If We Remove an Item That Has Already Been Purchased?

We understand your gift list may evolve - you may change your mind about certain gifts, or your needs may shift. Here’s what you need to know about removing items from your gift list, depending on whether or not the item has already been purchased.


🔒 If a Guest Has Already Purchased the Item:

Once a gift has been purchased, it cannot be deleted from your list. However, you still have full control over its visibility. If you no longer wish for it to be shown on your list:

  • Go to ‘Your List’ in your dashboard

  • Click the eye icon 👁️ next to the item

  • This will hide it from guests, but it will still appear in your records and be processed for you unless cancelled

Hiding a gift does not cancel it. It simply prevents other guests from seeing it.


🧺 If the Gift Has Not Been Purchased:

You’re free to remove any unpurchased items from your list at any time:

  • Head to ‘Your List’

  • Click the bin icon 🗑️ next to the item you want to remove

  • The gift will be deleted immediately


🚚 If You’ve Already Placed an Order:

If an item has already been included in a confirmed order, it generally cannot be cancelled, as we begin sourcing gifts from our brand partners straight away. However:

  • If the item is out of stock, we’ll let you know, and you’ll be given the option to remove it from the order

  • If you’d still like to cancel an item that’s been ordered, please contact our Customer Care team - we’ll be happy to check whether this is still possible
