At The Wedding Shop, we understand that your needs might change - and we’re here to make sure you receive the gifts that are truly right for you. The ability to swap or exchange gifts depends on the order settings you’ve selected during your gift list setup.
🛒 If you’ve not selected Auto-Order:
You have full flexibility!
Before your gifts are dispatched from our warehouse, you can:

Swap or cancel items, some directly from the ‘Place Order’ page of your dashboard

Replace items with alternatives from our 300+ brand partners
-
Reallocate gifted funds to something else you’d prefer
This gives you complete control - you decide when you're ready, and what you'd like to receive.
🚚 If you have selected Auto-Order:
Auto-Order means that as soon as a guest purchases a gift, we start the process of sourcing that item for you.
Because of this:

Gifts are ordered automatically and quickly

We are unable to cancel or swap items once they’ve been confirmed with our suppliers
If you want the flexibility to swap or update gifts before delivery, we recommend not enabling the Auto-Order setting.
