When guests contribute to your wedding gift list, their contributions are categorised based on the type of gift they choose and the gifts you have added to your gift list - including Brand Products, Vouchers & Experiences, Honeymoon, Custom Product or Cash Funds.
🛍️ What Are Product Funds?
Product funds refer to contributions made toward physical gifts listed on your gift list from our 300+ brand partners (e.g., The White Company, Soho Home, Ooni, etc.).
❌ Can Product Funds Be Used on Vouchers?
Unfortunately, no. Once a gift has been purchased and the funds are allocated to the Brand Product balance, those funds must remain within that category. They cannot be used to purchase vouchers or experiences, and cannot be transferred to cash or honeymoon funds.
We are unable to transfer funds between categories (e.g. from Product to Voucher or to Cash) - this includes for a 1.9% fee. This is to honour guest intentions and maintain transparency.
✅ What Can You Do Instead?
-
If you'd like to receive vouchers instead of physical products, we recommend adding voucher options to your gift list before guests make purchases.
-
You can remove unpurchased gifts and add voucher or experience options instead.
💡 Already Received Contributions to Vouchers?
If guests have contributed to vouchers or experience gifts, you’ll have full flexibility within your Voucher Balance:
-
Switch between different voucher brands
-
Split balance across several experiences
-
Use it anytime before ordering - all vouchers have a 12-month minimum validity from the date of issue
💬 Chatbot Summary
Product funds can’t be transferred or used to purchase vouchers. You’ll need to use them towards physical gifts from our brand partners. If you’d prefer to receive vouchers instead, we recommend adjusting your list before purchases are made.
