Can I receive a VAT receipt for my gift purchase?

As a guest, you’re pledging a contribution towards the couple’s chosen items or funds. However, it’s important to note that the couple, not the guest, places the final order for gifts. Because of this setup:

  • VAT receipts cannot be issued to guests.

  • The couple is the purchaser and point of VAT responsibility, as they ultimately decide how to use the funds contributed.

  • Gifts may be exchanged for alternatives, grouped into larger orders, or redirected to other balance pots depending on availability and preference.
