At The Wedding Shop, we’re proud to offer international shipping for many of our gifts. However, there are some important exceptions to be aware of:

❌ Large Furniture Items Cannot Be Delivered Internationally

Due to supplier restrictions and freight limitations, we are unable to ship large furniture pieces outside of the UK. Many of our furniture suppliers only support delivery to UK mainland addresses and are unable to accommodate overseas deliveries due to size, weight, or fragility.

❌ Fragile & Perishable Goods

Some gifts, including fragile (e.g., mirrors) and perishable goods (e.g., food and drink), must be sent directly from the supplier to a UK address and cannot be shipped abroad due to international handling constraints.

✅ What Can Be Shipped Internationally?

We can ship most non-perishable physical gifts to destinations worldwide. Once all your selected gifts arrive at our warehouse, we will:

• Compile and pack them securely for shipment.

• Provide you with a comprehensive shipping quote, including:

  • International delivery charges

  • Handling fees (for additional paperwork and packaging)

  • Optional shipping insurance (recommended)

We’ll wait until all gifts have arrived to provide a quote - this makes the shipping more cost-effective and efficient.

📦 Important Information About International Shipments:

• Shipping quotes are valid for 4 weeks.

• If you do not proceed within that time, storage fees may apply.

• Once approved, international shipping typically takes 1–2 weeks (may vary).

• Customs & import duties: These are the responsibility of the couple. Your local customs authority will contact you directly to arrange payment before delivery.
